Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):
Don’t be afraid to speak your mind this next month. Your feedback and opinions are as valuable as anyone else’s and, who knows, maybe your ideas are better than everyone else’s, I’m just saying that could be the case 🙂 A lot of the time we are our own worst critics and we tend to put ourselves down before we even say what we were going to say. Whether you like it or not, this is a form of suppression. Don’t let yourself be your own suppressor! Everyone has something unique to bring to the table and you are in no way exempt from “everyone.” Stop the vicious cycle of putting yourself down.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21):
Think of yourself as an observer this next month. Everyone makes mistakes and a lot of people tend to judge or criticize their own mistakes. The stars are telling me to challenge you to be non-judgemental of yourself and cut yourself some slack! Instead of “shoulding” yourself by saying “I should be doing this or I should be doing that” try saying “this is where I’m at right now and it is not the end of the world, I am still an awesome individual!” Be your own cheerleader, not your own critic.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19):
Think of this month as appreciation month! This includes appreciation for yourself, others, places, the weather, and yes, even your school. You may feel like you are just going through the motions of life because you are forgetting to appreciate! There is a difference in being immersed in your daily activities and being stuck in the later, you can’t take a step back, just be in the moment. It’s a completely different experience when you take the time to smell the roses rather than just looking at them. Beauty is in the details and if you don’t take the time to just “be”, time will keep whizzing by and you’ll be stumped wondering who took the time and where did they take it?

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18):
Make music a priority in your busy schedule! Whether it’s plugging in your headphones or blasting your favorite artists in your bedroom, listening to music is a great way to unwind and let loose. You tend to get so caught up in things that you often times forget to take a break or you may not see the benefits in taking breaks. But studies have shown that you actually need to take breaks in order for your brain to function at its optimum potential. That being said, what better way to take a break than to listen to music? You don’t need me to tell you that music eases your mind because you already know that but what you might not know is that “Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy” according to Ludwig Von Beethoven.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – Mar. 20):
No matter how tempting it is to be a follower this month, don’t let that temptation take away your ability to lead. If you believe in something strongly enough don’t let other people’s opinions or beliefs sway yours. Stand your ground and advocate for yourself because if you don’t how do you know someone else will? You have the charisma and the passion to make a change and the wits and the drive to spread your ideas and/or thoughts and create awareness. Don’t be the one who falls silent when faced with opposition.

Aries (Mar. 21 – Apr. 19):
Love is in the air, Aries! Cupid has his arrow cocked and ready so now is the perfect time to get flirtatious and take some risks! It doesn’t matter if you’re an introvert or an extrovert because this month you have the power of love on your side. You know that one person you’ve had your eyes on for a while now and haven’t gained the courage to start up a conversation yet? Well, have no fear because something is telling me that this person is having the same feelings as you, they are just too shy or too nervous to express themselves in fear of rejection or embarrassment. So don’t hesitate to make the first move because he or she will be grateful that you did.

Taurus (Apr. 20 – May 20):
Make it a point this month to set goals for yourself, whether they be short-term or long-term goals. They can be as simple as smiling more or as complex as graduating from college and applying for desired job opportunities. Setting goals gives you motivation to achieve those goals and it makes the things you do feel more purposeful and valuable. I would suggest writing out or typing up your list of goals and putting it someplace in your bedroom where you can see it when you wake up in the morning. This way you can look at each new day as an opportunity and a blessing. You have the power to make your dreams a reality!

Gemini (May 21 – June 20):
You have the natural ability to cheer people up and you almost always know just the right thing to say. That being said, this month use your skills and your words to be someone else’s cheerleader. You have a way with words that really resonates with people and sheds light even in times of utter hopelessness and despair. Use this superpower of yours to brighten some lucky person’s day and be the voice that they need.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22):
You have got to stop comparing yourself to others! I mean seriously what good is that doing for you? Focus on yourself this month and only compare yourself to you because everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Just do whatever it is that you do to your best ability and that is more than good enough. You are good at a lot of things and you are not good at a lot of things but try to see the glass half full rather than half empty for a change. People like optimists way more than they like pessimists so this gives you all the more reason stop comparing and start practicing self-love.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22):
Pursue something you are passionate about this month, whether it be an old passion or a new one. If you dedicate at least a fraction of your day to this passion and you actually enjoy putting time into it there is no reason that you can’t turn this passion of yours into a career path and ultimately your profession of choice. It’s going to help to have a job after high school and college so why not make it something that you love to do? Take time this month to think about possible careers you might want to pursue and whether you want to love going to work or dread going to work. Find what you love now before you’re stuck doing something you don’t love in the future.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):
You know that bad habit you’ve been trying to kick in the butt? Well, the stars are telling me that with some more perseverance and determination this bad habit can become a thing of the past. When you are faced with temptation just remember that your future self will thank you for not giving in to it. You are loved by so many and none of these people want to see you struggle with this any longer. You deserve to rid yourself of this pesky habit that for so long has annoyed you along with your close friends and family. I believe in you, you CAN do this! 🙂

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):
Make a list of all the things you are thankful for, Libra! This month is Thanksgiving and you know what that means! You’re going to have to say all the things that you are thankful for when it comes time to gather around your dining room table and this year is your year to have the longest list. I expect this list to go on for at least over a minute and I want your family to be blown away by all that you have to say. Really take some time to reflect on this past year and put your best effort forward in conjuring up this extensive list. Make this Thanksgiving one to remember for both you and your family and eat up!
