The 2024 Met Gala is the biggest Fashion event of the Year. year’s exhibit, This year’s theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and the event’s “The Garden of Time” dress code. The gala, which fundraises for the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute, is known for having a very secretive guest list. Co-Chairs for the night included Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Zendaya, who served alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
“I enjoy watching the Met Gala and seeing all of the amazing outfits. Though I am critiquing from the comfort of my couch, I love to keep track of the best and worst outfits,” Senior Lauren Melcher. This year fashion stars had some good hits but lots of fails. The biggest failed social media claims were Chris Hemsworth and Zoe Zandale. Both wore a light brown shade with little to no design. Chris Hemsworth was this year’s Met Gala co-chair and views believe he didn’t come to serve.
Though there were some bad there were a lot of celebrities that were right on theme. “My favorite singer Lana Del Ray slayed with her outfit. It was given dark garden theme and she looked amazing,” junior Presley Person.
