San Clemente has plenty of local coffee shops, but commonly among everyone’s favorites is Zebra House. Not only do they serve delicious lattes, cold brews, and mochas, but they also supply a large variety of breakfast options. Their breakfast menu includes: breakfast burritos and tacos, avocado toast, and muffins. They also sell different flatbreads or sandwiches for lunch or early dinner choices.

Zebra is located on 1001 S El Camino Real, right off the freeway in downtown, within walking distance of Bagel Shack if one would want to enjoy both a warm bagel with an iced latte. Zebra has the option for drive-through or walk-in orders. The inside has lots of room to sit, eat, and drink, and it even has a calming energy where people could bring schoolwork or actually work to be productive.

Senior Mason Henderson said, “Zebra is one of my favorite places to get coffee in San Clemente because they have so many unique drinks and they always taste good. There are even options for non-coffee lovers, as their chai and matcha lattes are available, hot or iced, and a great alternative.

Zebra is open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., so it’s easy to stop by before or after school if you are interested in what the best coffee has to offer.
