This year’s winner for best thrift store in San Clemente, voted by the Triton Times, goes to the Salvation Army. With a wide array of items to choose from, ranging from clothing in all shapes and sizes to furniture and basic home supplies, the Salvation Army is a fun and inexpensive way to spice up your wardrobe and your daily life.
“The Salvation Army never disappoints,” San Clemente High School junior Katrina Shoga said. “You can get one of a kind stuff there that other people don’t have.”
Located next door to the San Clemente DMV at 2727 Via Cascadita, San Clemente, CA 92672, the Salvation Army is open from 10:00am – 7:00pm everyday excluding Sundays. This is a popular thrifting location for many SCHS students due to its constant cycle of new clothes and accessories, friendly and helpful employees, and recurrent sale prices marked down as low as 50%.
“It’s a lot cheaper than other thrift stores,” SCHS senior Tara Shaw said. “I always end up finding something I love.”
Congratulations to the Salvation Army in San Clemente for winning best thrift store in town!
