It seems like these two lovebirds cannot catch a break. Just when you think there would be nothing else to dig up on Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles’ juicy relationship, another unpredictable scandal surfaces. The couple now has to fight their way out of another vat of hot water due to the antics of their relationship.
What started as a few flicks of “just friends” at a wedding evolved into promiscuous paparazzi pics making the rumors of costars turned lovers concrete. Everyone had their various opinions regarding Styles’ new girlfriend, but most tended to be negative. Junior Claire Campbell, an avid fan of Styles, discloses her opinion on Olivia, stating “I do not really like Olivia Wilde because she is ten years older than Harry and the meeting circumstances (which Wilde orchestrated) feel off”.
Obviously, Harry’s die-hard fans who have clutched on to the belief that they would be “the one” to receive his hand in marriage since his early days of fame in One Direction were sent into an angry spiral of outrage. This fiery mob of fans and info-hungry reporters began to do some digging on the relationship fueled by their many suspicions. What they found was shocking-many believe that Olivia was still with her now ex-husband, Jason Sudeikis, when she started to fool around with the ‘Sign of the Times’ star. Even if this rumor is not true, Olivia still pursued Styles too fast for the public taste. This is taking into consideration that she has been with Sudeikis for multiple years and they have 2 children together. Junior Izzy Farrell finds it suspicious how fast Wilde moves on from Sudeikis because “they were together for nine years and she just immediately jumped to Harry” she says. The drama continued to snowball but there were still a lot of missing gaps in this story but all would change as of this week.
After a former nanny of Wilde and Sudeikis was fired from taking care of their children she fled to the Dailymail, a British tabloid, to spill about an unknown part of Wilde’s relationship with the British pop star. Allegedly, Wilde had a special salad she would whip up for Sudeikis and the rest of their family with her homemade dressing.
One day after becoming quite close with Styles on the set of her movie Don’t Worry Darling (which she did request to bring on as the starring male role after Shia Labeouf left the project) Wilde tossed together her salad and was going to take it to Styles for a shared dinner. Sudeikis–still married to Wilde at this time-went berserk. He supposedly laid under Wilde’s car to prevent her from going to Style’s place because he had his suspicions about Styles and Wilde. Once Wilde slipped away from Sudeikis the irate husband sent the nanny hysterical texts claiming that Wilde abandoned him and the children.
Not only has the household help come forward with troubling accusations against Wilde but even Wilde and Sudeikis’ couples therapists claimed that “Harry is her crack, that this is like an addiction she has”. The therapist’s statement points to the fact that Wilde will do anything-even leave her former family in shambles-for Styles.
Wilde has dug herself into a deep hole with the public that she may not be able to dig herself out of. But despite all these horrid rumors one has to remember the “magic” of Hollywood and the press. It is possible Wilde’s former nanny could have been upset by her firing and tried to throw some dirt on Wilde as revenge. These nanny and therapist sources could also have likely been paid to lie to make tabloids like the Dailymail gather more revenue.
This also throws into question Styles’ clean image he has upheld since One Direction. If all or even some of this is true this means Styles is not the man all of his fans idolize him as.
