Hi! My name is Sophie and I am happy to introduce myself as part of the Triton news team. I am a junior here at SCHS and was born and raised here in beautiful San Clemente. During my free hours, I enjoy spending time with both family and friends. I have always showed an interest in writing and editing. I love to read and write, so I joined newspaper as a way to better express myself and find my own voice through words. As a senior next year, I hope to have improved my writing skills through newspaper and prepare for my college adventures. After graduating, my plan is to pursue a degree in English and Communications.
