Hi, I’m Lauren and this is my first year writing for the Triton Times. As this is my fourth and final year at San Clemente High School, I’m excited to be more involved around campus through the newspaper. From reporting on sports to interviewing club presidents and young artists, the Triton Times covers it all, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me as a writer and photographer. I love the idea of building connections inside and outside of the classrooms, and I think being a part of the newspaper team will make that a fun, learning experience while pushing my boundaries from a journalistic point of view.
In my free time, you can find me serving coffee at Zebra House Coffee or laughing with friends at Pines Park. After high school, I plan to take a gap year somewhere in South America in order to help other communities grow while expanding my understanding of myself and other cultures.
