Best place for a bonfire: Sano

By: Matt Farrow | Student Life Editor

Sit back in your beach chair and take a deep breath of fresh salty air before the wind decides to change its heading and choke you with a bombardment of smoke. Upon leaving you company in pursuit of fresh air you are bound to catch a glimpse of the moon’s reflection onto the sea glowing green from the radioactive waste. It is truly an unforgettable experience. Senior Evan Hikawa said “Sano is doomed but it’s been a fun ride.”

There isn’t a better spot to pile around a campfire than sano, especially if you want to keep that fire going for a low price just make a sure to bring an ax! There is a couple of bamboo forests and plenty of extra wooden benches. If you happen to burn through all that there’s also some palm trees. Senior Liam Lines captured the scene perfectly when he said “Sano is a pretty cool place to go.”
