Dear Winter,

I cheated on my boyfriend a year ago and he still doesn’t trust me. He brings it up all the time and tells me how much I hurt him. How do I regain his trust? How do I show him how sorry I am?

Mistrusting Girlfriend

Dear Mistrusting Girlfriend,

Trust is a hard thing to regain after it is lost. If your boyfriend has stayed by your side even after you cheated he obviously still loves you. You need to let him know how sorry you are and how much you regret doing what you did. You also need to let him know how much YOU love him. (englishwithashish.com) It’s going to take a while for you to be able to regain his trust, yes probably longer than a year but if you truly love him then the time it takes won’t matter.

Dear Winter,

I got accepted to my number one school but my family can’t afford it. I’ve wanted to go to this school since I was little and now that I have the opportunity to go I cant take it. What do I do?

College Bound

Dear College Bound,

Congratulations on your acceptance! There are a few things you can do in this situation. You can apply to scholarships, apply to fafsa, or you can defer your acceptance for a year. Fafsa is federal financial student aid that will provide you with money each year you apply to it. Make sure to apply soon because the deadline is coming up quickly. Next make sure you apply to as many scholarships as you possibly can. Hopefully after receiving all this aid you can go to your school at a more reasonable price. If your family still   can’t afford it you have the option of deferring your acceptance for a year. Within that year try to save some money so that you can pay your way to your top school. I hope you can attend your dream school!

Winter
