The undisputed best grocery store in San Clemente is Trader Joe’s. With countless healthy options and many unique and flavorful snacks and frozen entrées, Trader Joe’s offers the best selection of food and produce. Trader Joes has their own versions of staples snacks like Cheetos and Oreos that many people find tastier than the originals. As an added bonus, Trader Joes often uses fewer and healthier ingredients in their foods; Joe-Joes, the TJ version of Oreos, are always naturally flavored and colored, unlike their counterparts which contain dangerous Red-40 dye and a manmade flavoring called adipic acid.
Not only are their products good, but the service is always be top-notch. Everyone at TJ is kind and welcoming, making the grocery shopping experience much more pleasant than at other stores. The jungle theme of the store provides a unique atmosphere that makes grocery shopping a little more uplifting and entertaining.
“Trader Joe’s is the best place to shop,” San Clemente High sophomore Joey Hagen said. “The atmosphere is great, and I always love when they have samples out!”
