Niall Horan, commonly known for being the blond Irish member of the boy band One Direction, has announced his third studio album, ‘The Show.’ This cherished singer-songwriter has not released new music since 2020, so it is safe to say that Horan’s fans are elated.
These past couple of weeks, fans have been fed well with not only the announcement of an album but the release of a single, ‘Heaven’ which made its debut on February 17th. This song has already gained massive popularity with 6,562,592 streams on Spotify alone. Horan gained traction for his new single by posting a series of TikToks teasing his song building a massive amount of suspense and support.
Junior and Niall Horan super-fan, Sophia Miller, comments, “I’m really excited for the release of ‘The Show’ because I think Niall is at a point in his career where he could really have his moment to shine. Especially since Heartbreak Weather was really underlooked due to it being released on March 13, 2020.” She goes on to say, “I think the world didn’t see his full potential and I mean I’ve already heard the lead single, ‘Heaven,’ live and I can tell you it’s gonna be amazing!”
Many have been calling 2023, the “year of Niall Horan” and cannot wait for it to be Horan’s time to shine. With a much-anticipated album release, many wonder if there will be an announcement of a world tour in the near future.
Another fan, junior Sara Sims states, “I’m so pumped for Niall’s new album and if he releases concert tickets I will stop at nothing to get them.”
In addition to Horan’s phenomenal advertising and gaining of anticipation for his new music, Horan hosted a pop-up in LA on February 20th where he performed his new single and interacted with his fans.
Judging by the way things are going, Niall Horan will be a name heard often and by many in 2023. With the success of his new single and the overwhelming excitement for his album, one can only wonder if a Niall Horan Grammys domination is in our future.
