The time is ticking with prom just around the corner! The struggle for last minute outfit ideas causes the students, and even the parents, a lot of stress. Having the stereotype of having to dress all nice and take cute pictures is considered the “the best part” about the whole idea of prom, so having that perfect outfit is what makes it all come together.
“Even though I am really excited about prom, the urge to finding the perfect dress was a struggle. It was not until this past weekend that I found the dress for me that made me feel pretty and confident,” senior Lilly Bates said.
Since it is the last prom for all seniors this is a memorable time for the class of 2024. This is a time where most or all seniors are gathered having the time of their lives for one of the last time before graduation about a week later. Pines park will be the place that mostly everyone attends to take the annual pictures. The crowded park always will hold a special place in each students heart, whether you hate it or love it.
“This is going to be my last prom and honestly I am really excited to spend it with all my friends because this time next year I will not be around them,” stated senior Jackson Tally.
This prom will always hold a special place in our hearts that we can always look back on and say “our senior prom” went like… But no one talks about all the steps that prom actually follows. Which includes getting asked to go to prom, getting a outfit, buying flowers and then potentially going out to dinner with all your friends. All these steps always lead up to the special dance that the students are given the opportunity to go after.
So, I would say go down to the ASB office or go online to the schools website and get your prom ticket today. I am sure it is an experience you do not want to miss out on!
