As of late 2025, beloved American singer-songwriter Beyoncé has joined the billionaire club, standing alongside her husband Jay-Z as well as Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen. With her total earnings of 2025 alone hitting $148 million, Forbes named her the 3rd highest-paid musician in 2025, close behind The Weeknd and Taylor Swift.

It was none other than her latest album, Cowboy Carter, that propelled Beyoncé Giselle Knowles to gain a net worth surpassing 10-figures. Grossing over $400 million in ticket sales and an additional $50 million in merchandise sales, her country debut was named the highest grossing concert tour of 2025.

This isn’t the first time Queen Bey’s tours have moved markets. Back in 2023, Beyoncé embarked on a world tour for her Billboard-dominating album, Renaissance, kicking off in Stockholm, Sweden. Creating a sudden surge in tourism and consumer spending, the concert’s success shifted Sweden’s total gross domestic product for the year of 2023, making an appearance in their GDP report. In turn, this GDP bump caused a temporary spike in inflation, causing citizens and fans to place the blame on Beyoncé for their costly grocery bills.

This same sense of domination carried over when Beyoncé made the shift to country, a genre she had not fully explored in her previous mastery of R&B, hip-hop, and pop. Senior Noah Santana said he appreciates “how she can try a completely different genre and still make it sound natural,” adding that it’s part of “the reason she’s a billionaire.” Another fan of Cowboy Carter, Senior Elliott Hastings, mentioned that her immense success “definitely comes from her iconic collaborations and reimagined covers.”

Beyoncé’s audience broadened with the release of Cowboy Carter, as she partnered with legendary country stars such as Dolly Parton in the tracks “DOLLY P” and “TYRANT” as well as Willie Nelson, making an appearance on “SMOKE HOUR.” She blends the classic side of country with modern influences through her partnerships with Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Miley Cyrus. As a native of Houston, Texas, Billionaire Bey wanted to acknowledge country music’s overlooked Black roots.

America’s superheroine has built her empire with daring business moves and creative risks. Beginning her legacy as a member of the 90’s R&B girl-band, Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé has worked to establish her own entertainment and management company, Parkwood Entertainment, and gain full ownership of her eight-album discography. Beyoncé continues to break barriers for Black women in music history, with her expertise of both entrepreneurship and musical artistry. Queen Bey has earned her crown.
