You may know her as Kombucha Girl, Lady Brittany, or the ruler of internet chaos: Brittany Broksi has been taking the Internet by storm. Broski’s quick and loud humor, combined with fantastic interviewing skills, has helped her create Royal Court, a YouTube talk show featuring celebrities. Despite its debut in 2o23, Royal Court has only continued to grow in popularity and demand as Broski combines genuine curiosity and respect for her guests, most recently being Harry Styles.
Since its first video, Royal Court has stood out amongst its counterparts for its unparalleled authenticity, absurdity, and theatrics. The show features a medieval theme where celebrities compete for a spot on Broski’s “trusted council.” Through multiple segments, Broski allows her guests, as well as her audience, to see a lighthearted version of themselves through rapid-fire, bizzare questions that often reveal unexpected sides of their personality. At the same time, Broski weaves in thoughtful, career based questions while having guests multitask to keep the tone positive and easy going.
Broksi also delivers interviews that blend parody with sincerity as seen through her interactions with guests that are pop-culture worthy. With each new episode, there is anticipation lingering for who her next guest will be as they only seem to keep getting crazier. Senior at SCHS Danielle Blake stated that “[she] hopes Brittany will eventually have Hozier on the show.”
Recently on her podcast, The Broski Report, Broski talked about and acknowledged who she draws inspiration from for for the Royal Court to make guests feel comfortable and to make something she is proud of. Through a combination of late-night legend Conan O’Brien’s unmatched dry wit and quick humor, to Hot Ones’ Sean Evan’s thoughtful questioning style, Broski has successfully perfected her own unique interviewing techniques. Senior at SCHS, and long time follower of the show, Gabby Parish, explained that “[she] admires the way Brittany can be laughing hysterically with her guests to 10 minutes later be in a deep discussion about creative processes and their opinions about their work.”
As we reach a new age of entertainment, Brittany Broski has been defining and paving the way for content creators to explore unique but creative avenues. Through her rise on TikTok, to her career on YouTube, and interviews on the red carpet, Broski has displayed her versatility and influence as an internet personality, leaving fans excited for her next move.
