Who doesn’t love pizza? No one I know…or want to know.
The votes have been casted by San Clemente High School students and Beach Fire Pizza was ranked number one in the city because of their unique marinara sauce made from scratch and their fresh seasonal ingredients.
Recently a pizza place named Cassanos lost their lease down by the pier and Beach Fire was offered to open up shop. Since the change in ownership there is new staff, new pizza, new salads, and new recipes! Beach Fire Pizza makes everything from scratch: dough, sauce, and cheese! They worked hard to perfect their recipe to make the best pizza around town.
Their signature pizzas vary from Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Fire Roasted Vegetable, White Pizza (my personal favorite) and BBQ Hawaiian. Along with the pizzas there is a variety of salads, their most popular is their BBQ Chicken Salad which includes: lettuce, tomato, red peppers, beans, corn, red onion, cheese, chicken and topped with BBQ ranch dressing. If you don’t think you could order a whole pizza they have slices available! Everyday they offer cheese, pepperoni and occasionally a signature pizza slice. During the weekdays they offer a special where if you buy a salad or a beverage you get half off a slice and if you order a signature pizza or one of their flat-breads you get half off any salads or starters! Beach Fire Pizza is self seating but the staff is super accommodating to your needs.
“I start off with a beautiful piece of perfectly pressed dough. I then slap some of what I call “Heaven Sauce”on the dough. I slather around the sauce in a circular motion until it is placed to the edge. After this process I spread our mozzarella cheese until it covers our “Heaven Sauce” and that’s a cheese pizza. After throwing it into one of our three ovens I cut the pizza into eight perfectly perpendicular slices and that’s when it is ready for consumption.
