Making plans to grab dinner with friends or family? We often find ourselves in the the same dilemma: what if we do not want to get dressed up and make reservations for somewhere like Nick’s or the Cellar, but we also want something a little more upscale than a joint like 808 or Sonny’s?
To solve our problem, there’s a new place in town that will meet everyone’s perfect dinner outing requirements: H.H. Cottons. Imagine an upscale OC Tavern with a classy sports bar feel to it. The dim lighting creates a mellow atmosphere to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
The prices vary, but most items on the menu are relatively inexpensive. The menu features traditional American food but also ranges anywhere from a Poke Platter appetizer to the specialty Street Tacos entree. They are most known for their truffle fries and All American Hamburgers. People rave that this combo will leave you craving more.
Not only do they feature a renowned food menu, but they also offer a popular bar area. Although we are not of the drinking age yet, this may be a topic to mention to your parents in order to get them on board to eat here.
Junior Devynn Conte recently visited H.H. Cottons for the first time with her family. When asked about her experience, Conte stated, “this is my favorite place to come to with my family! I really enjoyed the caesar salad wedge while my dad enjoyed the sports center feel.”
Senior Sydney Davis remarks, “this is my first visit to the restaurant. Parking was tough especially tonight since a ton where walking around. We were lucky on a Saturday night to be seated right away. Our waitress Bettina, was wonderful. Everything was delicious, especially the sweet potato fries. Overall its a great restaurant and we plan on returning soon!”
If you are looking for something new, we highly recommend you take time to try out this new restaurant. H.H. Cottens offers an all-around experience that will keep you coming back for more.
This restaurant is described very well and makes me very hungry. I cant wait to go out and try H.H Cottons with some of my friends!
