Who is Justin Bieber’s real ‘Baby?’

Get your popcorn because things just got interesting on the internet. If you haven’t been keeping up on the latest celebrity drama, let me fill you in. But before we get started, let’s meet our celebrities. 

1. Selena Gomez

Former disney channel star who rose after her appearance on “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Gomez has since gone on to have a successful career in music and film. She is also known for her philanthropic work, particularly her advocacy for mental health awareness.

2. Hailey Bieber

Model who has walked for many famous fashion brands such as Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren. She is also known for her social media presence and has a large following on platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.

Now you may be thinking: what could these two celebrities possibly have in common? Well what if I told you that they both have had a romantic relationship with former internet heartthrob, Justin Bieber!

Selena and Justin previously dated off and on from 2010 to 2018. A long time! Then, just a month after Selena and Justin’s last official breakup in 2018, Justin began dating Hailey. Flash forward to today, where the two are “happily” married. 

But that’s all old news, let’s get to the recent drama. In February, Selena posed a TikTIk jokingly showing off her bushy eyebrows with the caption, “I accidentally laminated my eyebrows too much.” In my opinion, a lighthearted and funny Tik Tok, however, Hailey and Kylie Jenner -a close friend of Hailey’s- thought otherwise. 

Just a few hours after Selena’s tik tok, Kylie posted an Instagram Story of her own eyebrows with the caption, “This was an accident?” Kylie then posted another Story that was a screenshot of a FaceTime call between her and Hailey. In the photo, the two friends had their cameras on a close up of their eyebrows. Coincidence? I think not.

Shortly after, Kylie’s comment section was flooded with Selena Stans calling Hailey and Kylie “mean girls” and “immature”. Kylie responded to the hate by writing “No shade towards Selena ever, and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.” Selena then responded to Kylie’s address by stating “Agreed. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie.” Though the internet did not feel the same. 

Since the incident, Kylie and Hailey have found themselves in a tremendous amount of hate, losing thousands of followers by the hour. Selena, on the other hand, has been gaining followers, even passing Kylie as the most-followed women on Instagram. 

That’s the drama! And while we all have way better things to do than obsessing over celebrity drama, it’s always a little fun to stay caught up in the loop.
