Kat Piantka – Editor-in-Chief

Kat Piantka is a senior at SCHS, and this is her third year in Newspaper. She is thrilled to be writing again for the Triton Times but this year as the Editor-in-Chief. She cannot wait to further express her creativity through her love of high school journalism. On campus, she can be found running for SCHS Varsity Track and Cross Country, leading as NHS Vice President, organizing the Best Buddies club as the Secretary, or trying to support the incoming freshmen in Link Crew. Away from school, Kat is interning at Mission Hospital, tutoring, coaching at the San Clemente Golf Course, and stressing about her endless amounts of homework. In her sparse free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, going to the beach, watching movies, reading, and catching up on needed sleep.
